Privacy Notice
Last updated 20 August 2026
Who we are
Lexavy LLC, Kempt House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. This notice covers registration for the event Who is Actually Liable When Your AI Gets It Wrong on 17 September 2026. For anything outside this event, our general privacy policy applies at lexavy.net.
What we collect
Your name and email address, submitted through the registration form. If you send us a question ahead of the session, we keep that too. Nothing else. We do not ask for your phone number, your company or your job title.
We also store how you arrived at this page. When you follow a link, your browser tells us which site you came from, and we keep that alongside your registration. It tells us whether people find the session through LinkedIn, through email, or by typing the address directly. Most of the time it records nothing more specific than "direct".
Why, and on what basis
We use your name and email to confirm your place, send you the joining link, and send reminders before the session. The legal basis is performance of the arrangement you entered into when you registered. If you send a question, we use it to prepare the panel, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a session worth attending.
We do not add you to a marketing list. If we want to contact you about anything else afterwards, we will ask first.
We also keep a record of how you reached this page, so we know whether people are finding the session through LinkedIn, through email, or by typing the address in. The legal basis here is our legitimate interest in understanding whether our own outreach works, and you can object at any time by replying to any email from us.
Who processes it
Vercel, which hosts the registration page. Supabase, which stores the registrations. Resend, which sends the emails. Zoom, which runs the session itself and records attendance. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Supabase, Resend and Zoom are based in the United States, so your data is transferred there under the safeguards those agreements provide.
During the session
The session will be recorded. If you join, you may appear in the recording, and anything you say or write in the chat may be part of it. If you would rather not, keep your camera and microphone off. Zoom also records who attended and for how long, and registers if you raise your hand. If you do raise it, we take that as you asking us to write to you, and one of the panellists will.
What we do not do
We do not track whether you opened an email or clicked a link. We do not sell or share your details with anyone outside the processors named above. We do not use advertising or profiling tools.
How long we keep it
Registrations and questions are deleted six months after the event. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details before then, we do it and keep only the fact that you asked, so we do not email you again by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to send it elsewhere. Write to mlobato@lexavy.net and you will hear back from one of us. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it stops all further emails about this event.
Changes
If we change anything here before the event, we will update the date at the top.
